Engineered Storage Product Company (ESPC) has completed a North American Distribution Agreement with dinamica generale US Inc., a new U.S. branch of dinamica generale of Poggio Rusco, Italy, to distribute its innovative dg precisionFEEDING system and weighing scales to dairy and beef producers. ESPC is the manufacturer of Harvestore feed storage systems, the XL Unloader series and Slurrystore nutrient waste management structures.

“We are proud to bring dinamica generale’s dg precisionFEEDING system to the North American dairy and beef producer through our network of Harvestore and Slurrystore dealers,” says Richard Nelles, ag national marketing manager at ESPC. “dinamica generale is a major supplier of load cells and innovative electronic weighing systems.

“This precision feeding technology brings the real-time accuracy of NIR technology to the farm versus the laboratory,” Nelles adds. “So instead of waiting several days for feed analysis information, the farmer instantly knows the dry matter and nutrient content of feed as it is unloaded from storage in a bag, bunker or Harvestore Structure.”

The dg precisionFEEDING kit includes DTM professional feed management software, NIR Analyzer, and the Top Scale, a highly technological weighing indicator that wirelessly receives data from the NIR analyzer. The system automatically adjusts the weight on the basis of dry matter content “on-the fly” according to nutritionist recommendations and also measures, protein, starch, ADF, NDF, crude fat and ash values. The NIR system is mounted in a front end loader bucket or installed as part of the feed conveyor system.
